Professional iWeb Themes

iweb.jpgA few weeks a go my wife and I  had our second daughter and wanted to make an iWeb site. Many of you checked it out at My problem was that I did not want to use any of the built in themes from the fine folks at apple. I searched for just a bit and was pointed to a site 11Mystics. The site Has over 20 “Pay For Templates” and about 5 free ones. I used the free templates named “Baby Pink” . The “Pay For Templates” are very reasonably price for around the 12.00 price point for most. Some are a bit higher but they have a lot of customization in the iWeb area. They are easy to install on your system and the author gives free updates to the purchased themes for life. She also has a site that outlines how to make your own iWeb theme. This is not easy and if you go down the road of making your own theme please back up your system first!!!!The author has also just released her first Rapid Weaver theme it is priced a bit higher than the iweb stuff but it is worth it. Get Tabouli, the fresh new theme for RapidWeaver from!

UPDATE: Check out the next article on iWeb I put up. Its an in-depth look on how to use it for a photo sharing site. Use iWeb To Share Your Family Photos

So are there any good free templates out there. I recently did a site,, and simply changed the graphics and such but it was very tedious. Is there any easier way?

Hi – I’d like to announce my new website – consists of regular html/flash websites etc and a growing collection of the web’s best iWeb templates/themes – please bear in mind that this project is very organic and as such doesn’t contain many templates/themes yet, however I plan to scour the web to find the best free and paid for iWeb templates/themes and put them all in one place. So watch this space. If you have any templates you wish to donate or if you would like to partner with to sell your own templates/themes, please get in touch via the site.

I made this site using iweb. I designed it from scratch.

I like iWeb. But for advanced ideas, you always have to find some work-arounds. Ok, there is a huge community on the web, but still, that’s tiring. In the end, iWeb isn’t that easy… So I think for my next project, I’ll buy Freeway 5 Express; I tried the 30 days demo, and it is fantastic.

Hi There I am also a new mac user and was wondering how you were able to stretch this template across? All the templates I use will not stretch across the screen. Any help you can provide will be great. THANKS!!

I agree with James and am trying to do a similar thing. I clicked on your interesting page and love what its about. However, here’s a typo that needs rectification on your page about your tours in Kashmir and India.

Kashmir AND India, James? Kashmir is a part OF India.

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a good article… but what can I say… I
put things off a lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
