I use Illustrator all day everyday and wanted to make all the files I save out to be able to be viewed in the Best new Feature of Leopad, Quick Look”. It is very easy to do all you need to do is download illust.qlgenerator.zip and unzip it to a convenient location. You then need to move it to the Quicklook folder in the Library. Mine was in the Main Drive / Library / Quicklook You may also find it in / Users / YOURUSERNAME / Library / QuickLook. It worked for me out of the box but it may require a restart to work well.

I installed this QL plugin but it is not working properly. Do you think is any incompatibility with AI CS5?

@André: You have to edit your AI CS5′s info.plist file.

It will work only with AI files saved with the “Create PDF Compatible File” option checked. That means larger file sizes, but it’s the price for convenience.
