Not many people know but i have decided to jump on the Social Network band wagon. I have selected Facebook.com because it just looks better than myspace.com. The main reason for me wanting to get on one of these sites is so I can post pictures of me and my family. I get real tired of e-mailing them to so many different people, so all I have to do is get Facebook up and tell my friends and family to look there. Well i came across this little application to help me put my iphoto pics up with very little work. Facebook Exporter for iPhoto 1.0.1

1. Install Facebook Exporter for iPhoto 1.0.1
2. Open iPhoto.
3. Select the pictures you want to import in Facebook.
4. Go to File, and choose “Export…”.
5. Click on the “Facebook” tab.
6. Click on “Login” and proceed to the login in Safari.
7. Come back to iPhoto.
8. Name the album that will be created in Facebook.
9. Go through the list of photo at the left and enter the caption and the tags.
10. Click “Export” and wait until it is over.
11. That’s it! You now only have to login to Facebook and confirm that you really want to publish this album. You can then choose whether you want the album accessible by everyone or only your friends!

Bro, you should also check out picasa web galleries, it has an iPhoto exporter and no messing around with the browser, logs straight in… you can then link back to it in a number of ways from facebook – just another free place to store some pics depending on how you want to present them. Picasa has the power of google maps and gEarth added to it, so is great for tourist stuff, as opposed to personal photos. Also am testing various html boxes for facebook, so can put up stuff out of iWeb… just wish I could shift mini feed and info box to skinny column with friends… oh well. So frustrated! I would like to edit my pictures first and enhance certain colors that did not come out during some of my trip. Is this possible before posting them to facebook?
