  1. Your automator must be different from mine. I can’t get to square one. I can’t find starting points, etc.

    Mac

  2. I’m having a very frustrating time trying to pay my I tunes bill. It keeps rerefusing to acknowledge my card and giving me a timed out message. Please call me and fix this problem. 212-861-0334. I’m more comfortable on the phone.
Incidently, it was extremely difficult tofigure out how to e-mail you for help.
    Thanks for you time,
    Annette

Same here. I have the Mac Tiger. Is this for the Mac Leopard?

  5. I followed the directions & everything happened as described. What doesn’t happen and is not explained is HOW TO ATTACH the automator file that’s created. I saved it – I named it – I can find it, but now what do I do? This is more frustrating than not knowing at all!

  6. I can’t get past step 2 either – I also have the Tiger – so, if anyone has figured out how to email a song from your iTunes, feel free to email me and let me know – PLEASE. My email is vbaez777@mac.com. Thank you.

  7. How To on Tiger:
    1. Open Automator
    2. Choose Application for your template
    3. Under Library -> Music then drag over “Ask For Songs”
    4. If you are using Mail for your email then now choose Mail under Library -> Mail drag over “New Mail Message”
    5. If you are using Entourage Library -> Mail drag over “Create New Entourage Mail Message”
    6. Select options Check “Show this action when the workflow runs”
    7. Save as an app to run the process or save as workflow if you want to edit it in the future. I say save it as both and remember where you save it to.

  8. i bought a iTunes card and it wont let me downlode it and i tryed to talk to 2 diffent times and no 1 help me

  9. That tune is absolutely amazing, and I’m not even into that kind of music. I really like it!

  10. This worked fine for me. I have successfully sent an email with a song attached from my ITunes library. Thanks for your directions.

One question. Does the recipient have to have ITunes on their computer to listen to the attached song?

    Thanks.

  11. Your directions don’t help me in attaching music files to email, either. I have Lion. In Automator, there’s no Starting Points menu, no links to music. Nothing. I need to email songs-in-progress to other musicians, studios, etc. Please help! I’m really new to Mac.
