FCC sets new Net Neutrality Rules

net-neutralityThis news is not specific to the Apple community but it is very important to anyone who uses the internet.  Today the FCC passed some very good net neutrality rules today. The new regulations include blocking ISP’s form creating “Fast Lanes” for pay, give the FCC authority to intervene when big cable companies don’t act in the public interest,  stop IPS’s from blocking websites, and more.

The plan looks a lot like the “Open Internet Rules” president Obama asked for in his November 10, 2014 announcement.
