About the Site
NewMacUser is a Web site and blog that is devoted to delivering fresh content to Apple users. We get our sources from all over the map, We also are dedicated to bringing original how-to’s and tips to our readers.I started this site in April of 2006 just after I bought my first Mac computer.
Stats
Internally we use the Wordpress built in Stat tracking system. This system has been the most reliable for us since we started tracking our stats. If you are interested in seeing our stats report please contact us from an e-mail address we can use to give you access.
We are currently seeing a range of visits per day. Over the past month we have seen a high of 802 visits (9-3-08) and a low of 501 (8-31-08)(Current as of 9/15/08). On 9-2-08 main sponsor saw 56 clicks on their links.
Ad Inventory
We Currently have 2 ad types on our site 125×125 and 375 x upto 200
125×125
We use the standard 125×125 area that you can see to the left. Each 125×125 ad is on a line with 3 ads. The cost for a 125×125 ad is $35.00 per month. They can be purchased in six month packages at a $5.00 per month savings for a total of 180.00. The advertiser can supply the artwork. If NewMacUser.com is asked to create the artwork there will be an additional 25.00 fee. Paid ad units will be displayed prior to any affiliate ads that are running on the side bar.
375 x upto 200
The 375 x upto 200 carries with it not only the clickable ad unit but a customized header as seen with the “Mac Update Promo”. This ad unit can be purchased for $85.00 per month. It can also be purchased in a six month package for 10.00 per month off for a total of 450.00. The advertiser can supply the artwork. If NewMacUser.com is asked to create the artwork there will be an additional 25.00 fee. Paid ad units will be displayed prior to any affiliate ads that are running on the side bar.
